Trish Forstner is an Eisner and Ringo Award-nominated cartoonist from Baltimore, Maryland. She brings a lifetime of experience creating fun, lovable, and believable characters. She’s been drawing since she could hold a pencil. Trish loves classic animation and has drawn influence from many sources, particularly classic 80s and 90s toons. Her style has been compared to Don Bluth, Walt Disney, and Warner Bros., but she likes to think she’s found a way to separate herself from those comparisons while still drawing inspiration from them. Harrisburg native Jimmy Gownley is a New York Times best-selling cartoonist, and creator of the award winning and trendsetting Amelia Rules! series of graphic novels. He has been nominated for 15 Eisner awards and six Harvey Awards. His memoir, The Dumbest Idea Ever!, won the Children’s Choice Award for Book of the year.
In addition to his creator owned work, Gownley is a successful freelance writer; crafting many comics, graphic novels, and hybrid books for such global icons as: Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Tangled, Zootopia and more. Gownley’s work has been translated into ten languages, and he has spoken to countless children through his dynamic school presentations. He has been a guest lecturer at The Center for Cartoon Studies, The Cartoon Art Museum, and Artist in Residence at the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center. Outside of the comics world, Gownley had a decade long career in television news, where he was an Emmy nominated art director. Chris is a professional illustrator, cartoonist, caricaturist and a web and graphic designer working in the Washington, DC area. In 2007, he created the webcomic Capes & Babes featuring Roy the Werewolf. You can read all 1200+ strips at www.capesnbabes.com. Chris has also collected those 12 years of strips into five trade paperback books and created three all ages coloring books on Amazon.com.
Chris attends several conventions throughout the year where he primarily draws caricatures of people as werewolves and other monsters, sells mash-up posters, coloring books, stickers and so much more.

BRYAN TILLMAN

Description:
Bryan Tillman has been in higher education for 20 years and has done everything from professor to program director for Media. He is currently an Associate Professor for Illustration at Montgomery College in Rockville Maryland. Bryan has a BFA and MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a focus in sequential art and a minor in drawing. As an educator Bryan has conducted many panels and solo lectures for many conventions such as, AwesomeCon, MegaCon, Stan Lee's Comikaze, GenCon, Wizard World Conventions and San Diego Comic Con. The San Diego Comic Con has over the past 16 years invited him back to give his panel on Proper Pitching and Promoting Yourself. Bleeding cool did an article on it in 2017.

Aside from being an educator, Bryan is a Diana Jones Award recipient and Glyph award nominee and he is the owner and CEO of Kaiser Studio Productions LLC, a production studio for comics, toys, animation, and games that has been active in the industry for 24 years. Within Kaiser Studio Productions Bryan Tillman does many things. He is a sculptor for toys. He is the editor for all the comic books that come out from the studio. He also does layout and illustrations for multiple projects that are being worked on. Some of the clients that Bryan has worked for are Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Image Comics, Valiant Comics, UpperDeck, Cryptozoic, Rittenhouse, Lucas Films, Cartoon Network, Toys R Us, T.G.I. Fridays, Focal Press, FX, Miramax and Tandem Productions.
Bryan has published three instructional books; Creative Character Design for Focal Press, Creative Design vol. 2 for CRC Press and The 30 Day Pitch Bible as well as two character design workbooks for Kaiser Studio Productions. Bryan has also created and illustrated a tabletop RPG trading card game, Dark Legacy, which was acquired by UpperDeck and released in late 2018
Currently Bryan is hard at work getting Ninja Empire to the public. Ninja Empire is multi-platform IP that will be spawning comics, action figures, board and card games, and animations. Issue 0 was a successful Kickstarter campaign and was recently published in September. Issue 1 is set to release in August, and Issue 2 is in production.

Patricia A. Jackson — Author Biography
Patricia A. Jackson is an American author, high school language arts teacher, and advocate for diversity in literature. She is best known for her contributions to the Star Wars universe, particularly through short stories and a roleplaying game sourcebook that centered on people of color.
Career and Writing
Jackson’s Star Wars work began in the 1990s when she wrote numerous short stories for the West End Games quarterly Star Wars Adventure Journal. Her most famous creations include:
Drake Paulsen, a Socorran smuggler, and the Old Corellian language she invented for his stories.
Adalric Cessius Brandl, an Imperial Inquisitor, and his son Jaalib, featured in the Emanations of Darkness story.
The 1997 West End Games sourcebook The Black Sands of Socorro, a smugglers’ guide focusing on non-white characters in the Star Wars setting.
She also authored the canon short story “Gone to the Winner’s Circle”, published in the 2023 anthology From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi.
Debut Novel
In addition to her Star Wars work, Jackson is the author of Forging A Nightmare, an urban fantasy novel set in a dark, supernatural world. The book explores themes of identity, survival, and the supernatural, and she has spoken about drawing inspiration from her own experiences and the settings she imagines.
