COSPLAY IS NOT CONSENT!
A quick announcement for our cosplayers and guests. We love you guys and want you guys to have the best time possible here and the safest. Hence why we are strong believers in COSPLAY IS NOT CONSENT! Attendees please remember these rules when dealing with all the talented cosplayers on the floor when wanting a picture or to interact:
1) . Make sure to ask their permission before taking a photo. Its only proper and well-mannered to do so!
2) . “NO” means “NO”. Cosplayers do have the right to not take a picture with someone. Most of the time this isn’t the case but there might be a reason they can’t or won’t.
3) . Even when they say “Yes” to a picture it doesn’t give permission for physical contact.
4) Be respectful!!! This goes for everyone no matter the circumstance.
